The chapter, not the output
Writing up
APA 7 tables and sentences, a Method section assembled from what the study already recorded, and a link your supervisor opens without an account.
The gap between an analysis and a chapter is hours of retyping numbers, and every retyped number is a chance to transpose two digits. ZStat writes the sentence with the figures already in it.
What you can do
Each result is written in APA 7 form: the statistic, its degrees of freedom, the exact p value, an effect size and a confidence interval, formatted correctly.
Correct decimals, italics where APA wants them, and notes beneath.
Design, ethics approval, lawful basis, the locked instrument and the participant flow, written from what the study holds rather than from memory six months later.
Export the chapter and edit it like any other document.
Read-only, no account, no password. They see the results and the assumption checks behind them.
What it refuses
- A results chapter rebuilt by re-running the analysis, which would print today numbers under the date the work was done.
- Silently dropping an analysis whose tables were never stored. It appears with its text and a note saying why, and offers to re-run.
